Get creative and learn the art of leathercraft in this hands-on leather purse making workshop designed especially for kids!
Participants will design and create their own stylish leather animal purses from start to finish while learning traditional crafting techniques in a fun, supportive environment.
Students will be guided through:
- Understanding different types of leather
- Cutting and preparing leather pieces
- Hand-stitching and simple assembly techniques
- Adding personal touches such as straps, fasteners, or embossing
No prior experience is needed. All tools and materials are provided, with age-appropriate equipment and close supervision to ensure safety. We will be using recycled upholstery and shoe leather. By the end of the session, each participant will take home 2 x durable handmade leather purses.
This workshop encourages creativity, patience, and practical skills while boosting confidence through making something truly unique.
