Polymer clay is an oven baked modelling clay which can be formed into any shape imaginable. In this workshop students will learn how mould polymer clay to create different bead shapes and how to make multi coloured and patterned beads from scratch using a variety of different techniques including applying gold leaf. Then how to bake and assemble finished pieces by threading onto beading string, and finally glueing onto fittings. Many different colour and shape options available. Suitable for complete beginners, all materials provided.

Such an amazingly fun class! Anna was so generous with her time, knowledge and supplies and immediately put us all at ease with her warmth and easy going nature. It was so much fun to learn some new polymer clay techniques in such a great and informal setting. I made a bead necklace and a pair of earrings and I’m so keen to learn more! I’m definitely keeping an eye out for the next polymer clay class offered by Aa is for Art. I loved it, thank you again Anna! 😊
